Hämmerling Group Logistic GmbH based in Paderborn has opted for the transport management system ‚cargo support dispo‘. Until the summer of 2016, the new system which will replace several existing solutions and data bases that are used by about 100 employees at 12 locations for the segments of material planning, order management and invoicing.
“Cargo support dispo will be our central forwarding software, transparently displaying the current stage of every process on a single data base”, explains Thomas Torke, Member of the Board Hämmerling Group Logistic. All innovations and customer agreements can then be fed into the system at one central place, and are then available to all employees.
The documents management module helps the Hämmerling Logistic Group avoiding long searches, double work, and multiple copies of documents.
The solution provides a current, complete information base that is available at all 100 work places at any time. “cargo support dispo will considerably reduce manual efforts”, Thomas Torke is confident about the new system.
The telematics solution Hämmerling has used for years can also be connected via an interface, to locate the towing and towed units permanently. The tours and orders created with cargo support dispo will in future be sent directly to the terminals of the drivers.
Hämmerling Group Logistic GmbH is a medium-sized logistics provider founded in 2010, operating in the fields of full, less than full loads and groupage cargo, as well as contract and warehouse logistics.
