In May 2018, HBB established HBB Hanseatic Break Bulk (Austria) GmbH, a new subsidy in the city centre of Vienna. Increasing demand for a professional link next door to the customers was leading the project to create a footprint in Austria. In addition to specialising on transports of project cargo and big components, maritime forwarding and river shipping, as well as part and full charter of multipurpose vessels allows them to cover all aspects of general cargo business.
HBB was nominated as booking agent for the Chinese-Polish Liner Shipping Company Chipolbrok for the Austrian market. Chipolbrok offers fortnightly sailings from all major ports on the Continent connecting them to the middle East, India, South East Asia and Fareast. From the Fareast C-P offers regular sailings further eastbound via Korea, Japan to U.S.A. as well as westbound sailings directly back to Europe. With a modern fleet of 17 Heavylift Multipurpose vessels, running on regular liner services as well as increasing charter activities C-P can cover nearly all port pair connections on the globe.
HBB Hanseatic Break Bulk GmbH – HBB is a modern, independent boutique shipbroker that got established in 2014. The headquarter is located in Hamburg, Germany. With its global customer and supplier network the company specializes on international Breakbulk transportation. The service portfolio is thereby split into two Divisions. First an international maritime Transportation Department for carriage of breakbulk, project and heavylift components. And an Offshore Division that focuses on supply and logistics concepts for Offshore construction and pipelaying supply.
