GO! launching pilot project for delivery by “E-Auto”

With its “E-Auto” pilot project in Hamburg, GO! Express & Logistics is making a big move towards “zero-emissions delivery”. Alongside the e-bikes that have been introduced throughout Germany, Renault Kangoo, a purely electric vehicle, is aimed to enable CO2-neutral delivery for all shipments.

With a loading capacity of 3,500 litres and a range of 80 to a maximum of 125 kilometres, depending on driving style and temperature, the electric car is in no way inferior to classic transport vehicles. It is well-suited for inner-city collections and deliveries. With free battery charging at GO! stations, reliable performance is guaranteed from Monday to Friday.

GO! Express & Logistics is Germany’s largest independent provider of express and courier services. The global partner network was founded in 1984 and currently includes over 100 GO! stations in Germany and Europe. 1,400 employees and 3,000 couriers ensure the transport of more than 5 million shipments each year.

In keeping with its corporate philosophy “It’s all about time”, GO! provides a regional courier and global express shipping service of goods, documents and particularly time-critical shipments round the clock, 365 days a year. Customised supply chain solutions, industry-specific solutions and special services in response to complex customer requirements also form part of the portfolio.
