Apart from Germany, GLS guarantees delivery also to Benelux, Switzerland and Denmark within 24 hours. GLS offers a range of time-definite options for major export markets like Germany at either 9.00, 10.00 or 12.00 a.m. on the next working day.
GLS has also previously delivered parcels to many neighbouring East European countries within 24 hours. As of now, with its EuroExpressParcel, the company guarantees delivery within 24 hours – otherwise senders get their money back. Senders are also offered a transnational track and trace service.

With this new product GLS Austria addresses its existing customers, but also companies that were previously using the air freight express service, because the road-based GLS transport is more cost effective and economical. In addition truck transport is less harming to the environment that air freight.
Axel Spörl: “There is definitely demand for international express delivery, particularly to Germany, but also to other European countries. We are planning to offer the EuroExpressParcel also in other states.“
