Following the set up of the airfreight product including the IATA license in the spring of 2019, Global Express Austria now starts its own sea freight containers from Kalsdorf. Managing Director Rolf Hadolt thus fulfills his promise to Global Express customers to also take account of developments in the ocean freight sector and thereby set up the last remaining segment in the international transport sector.
This closes the gap in the Air & Sea segment. Local container stuffing in Kalsdorf should enable faster turnaround time in the port of export. In the import sector, they rely on the proven daily rail service via Koper for the still booming Asian market, which has thus been increased recently.
With 60 years of experience, Global Express Austria GmbH is an expert in the overnight and express courier segments. The Styrian company was founded in 1959 and in 2010 was prized as “Austrian Leading Company”.
