For customers with regular goods flows to Germany and Central Europe, new routes will serve Berlin, Dortmund, Hamburg and Munich as well as cities further East such as Prague, Bratislava, Warsaw and Krakow, with several weekly connections departing from the Paris region (Gennevilliers) and the South-West region (Toulouse).Shippers will benefit from price flexibility according to the weight of shipments and the number of pallets, as well as improved customer service thanks to the designation of a single point of contact. A “pilot” is attributed to each route, and becomes the single point of contact for the customer, ensuring the optimum management of their flows.
“These new routes complete Gefco’s international groupage system which draws on a network of 145 interconnected depots across Europe and offers more than 70 regular daily lines from France” says Richard Saliba, Sales and Marketing Director for Gefco France.
