The new intermodal service connects Hungary and Austria to Poland and marine terminals abroad

First regular intermodal train from Gliwice to Sopron

On 22 July the first regular intermodal service to Sopron departed in Gliwice. The train from Upper Silesia to Hungary is scheduled 3 times a week. It will also serve the Vienna and Bratislava region.

The loads via Sopron will be distributed by regular intermodal services to Poland (polish ports Gdańsk, Gdynia), Netherlands (Rotterdam), Belgium (Antwerp), Germany (Hamburg, Frankfurt Oder, Duisburg), Romania (Curtici, Ploiesti), Slovenia (Koper), Turkey (Halkali).

PCC Intermodal organizes domestic and international transport of containers based on the regular rail connections between marine and inland terminals and door to door deliveries. The network of connections includes marine terminals in Hamburg/Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Gdańsk, Gdynia and inland terminals in: Kutno, Gliwice, Brzeg Dolny, Dębica, Frankfurt (Oder), Duisburg and Brest.
