DTC Spedition in Nuremberg changes to Gebrüder Weiss brand

The international transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss sets the course for the integration of the German transport company Erich Bogdan GmbH & Co. KG (DTC). With Alexander Eberharter, as of May 1, 2018, a GW representative took over responsibility for the business of DTC in Germany. He is assisted by Roland Kuhn, who has worked for the Nuremberg forwarding company since 1974, as deputy branch manager and responsible for sales.

“With Alexander Eberharter, we have succeeded in recruiting an experienced leader to head the DTC with headquarters in Nuremberg and other locations in Lossburg and Luedenscheid,” says Anton Hagg, Regional Manager Germany at Gebrüder Weiss. In the future, the DTC customers will benefit from the Gebrüder Weiss network of 150 locations worldwide and the entire range of services, consisting of land transport, air and sea freight as well as logistics solutions.

Alexander Eberharter has sound logistics know-how and is well connected in the industry. He gained his experience in various management positions, which he held at Gebrüder Weiss for the past 20 years. Most recently, he was Head of Logistics at the Gebrüder Weiss branch in Hall / Tyrol.

From January 1, 2019, the DTC will be managed under the brand Gebrüder Weiss with locations in Nuremberg, Lossburg (Baden-Württemberg) and Luedenscheid (North Rhine-Westphalia). The wholly-owned subsidiary of the Gebrüder Weiss Group specializes in the conception and implementation of customized logistics solutions for the manufacturing industry and generated sales of EUR 55 million with 110 employees in the 2017 financial year.
