The new agreement covers the storage and procurement of more than two million spare parts per year. This business will be managed from the central warehouse in Moscow, by Yusen Logistics. The authorised dealers and repair shops in Russia will be served by Next Day Distribution.
Yusen Logistics Russia supports Denso Russia LLC with the following
services:
• Receipt and acceptance of incoming consignments
• Order-picking and packaging of 2,000 order items
• 1,000 m² warehouse capacity
• Quality control
The new business represents a further move in the relation of the two companies. Yusen Logistics has been providing supply chain solutions in Russia and Germany, as well as warehousing and product preparation in the UK.
Yusen Logistics has been present in Russia since 2004. In addition to the warehouses in Moscow and St. Petersburg the company has numerous cross docking hubs and strategic connections to all major centres in Russia. In total they operate 11 locations with 30,000 m² storage area, container depots, their own truck fleet and container chassis.
