Den Hartogh takes over Sitra-Group bulk liquid chemicals business unit

Sitra-Group and Den Hartogh Logistics agreed a transfer of all bulk liquid chemical activities from Sitra to Den Hartogh. The acquisition fits the strategies of both companies. Sitra-Group is focussing on transportation of foodstuff and Den Hartogh Logistics is strengthening its European road and intermodal network.

Sitra Group is a national and international transport company which specialises in the transportation of foodstuff.  Besides the head office in Ypres it has branches in 10 other countries and employ over 720 people.
Den Hartogh is the specialist in road and intermodal transport of bulk liquid chemicals and gas for the chemical industry. Headquartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, it operates from 30 different sites in 17 countries around the globe. Its team numbers about 1,000 employees. For transport, they make use of their own fleet of well over 4,000 tank containers, 400 road barrels, and 500 trucks.
