Josef Schneider, Branch Manager DB Schenker Kufstein, together with the constructors of LAK Immobilien GmbH, Architect Dr. Shebl and the Mayor of Langkampfen Andreas Ehrenstrasser recently celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new logistics facility in Langkampfen, in the district of Kufstein. The investment totals EUR 11 million.
The integrated terminal will include a 10,000 m² logistics area and a 350 m² office building. As early as in December 2016 operations shall start at the new site. DB Schenker thus enlarges its area in Tyrol, creating capacity for initially more than 20 jobs.
Apart from state-of-the-art IT-solutions and current safety standards, the entire warehouse has a controlled temperature between 8 and 25 degree Celsius. This allows also meeting high customer requirements and storing temperature-sensitive goods like pharmaceuticals.
