First, Josef Schneider took over the management of all three DB Schenker branches in Innsbruck, Kufstein and Lienz on 1 January 2019. Now five further representatives from the own ranks follow, who take over the management of their respective department for the province of Tyrol. For example, Markus Raffeiner is responsible for the land transport business, Markus Reiter for logistics and Andreas Watzdorf for air freight. Sea freight will be managed by Gert Schöffthaler and sales by Stefan Schifko.

“The new team is formed by long-time employees from the DB Schenker branches in Tyrol, who know their business very well and are top experts in their field. With this reorganisation we can offer our Tyrolean customers even better and more efficient solutions and in this way set the right course for a successful future,” Josef Schneider, branch manager of DB Schenker in Tyrol, says about the restructuring.

With a total logistics area of around 70,000 m² and 273 employees, DB Schenker’s three branches in Innsbruck, Kufstein and Lienz score points with domestic companies offering a versatile product portfolio and innovative solutions. The branches are integrated in the unique network with more than 2,000 locations worldwide and offer Tyrol’s industry comprehensive transport solutions from a single source.
