CombiNet: New management board commences its work

As part of the 4th General Assembly of CombiNet, a new management board was elected on 22 March 2019 in Vienna. The new chairman is Andreas Käfer (Traffix Transport Planning GmbH). He will be supported by Nikolaus Hirnschall (Roland Spedition GmbH) as deputy and Josefine Deiser (Eurotrans Speditionsgesellschaft m.b.H.) as deputy, as well as Beate Färber-Venz (Venz Logistik GmbH) as cashier. Otto Hawlicek (Containerterminal Enns GmbH and Containerterminal Salzburg GmbH) keeps his position as secretary general.

The new board thanked the previous board headed by Herbert Peherstorfer and the members of the board Ingrid Glauninger (Montan Speditions GesmbH) and Robert Schnetzer (Containerdienst Hans Hämmerle Gesellschaft mbH) for their many years of cooperation and commitment to CombiNet. Ingrid Glauninger will remain active in her company.

In his opening speech, Andreas Käfer emphasised that the objectives for the coming years are to preserve the proven structures of CombiNet and to strengthen of the combined transport sector in Austria. The association is the national contact point for the International Union of Combined Road/Rail Transport (UIRR) and for questions about the ILU Code.
