Christine Cabau Woehrel joins the CMA CGM Group

The CMA CGM Group announces the appointment of Christine Cabau Woehrel to the position of Executive Vice President in charge of assets. From March 15th, her main responsibilities will include managing the Group’s industrial assets such as its fleet of vessels, its newbuildings, its container fleet, intermodal transport and the Group’s terminals.

Having begun her carrier in 1987 in the CMA CGM Group, Christine Cabau Woehrel became in 2011 a transport consultant. The following year, she was appointed CEO of the Port of Dunkirk and she became in March 2014 CEO of the Port of Marseille-Fos, the largest port in France.

The CMA CGM Group, led by Rodolphe Saadé, is a world leader of maritime transport. Its 506 ships serve more than 420 ports worldwide on the 5 continents. In 2017, they transported nearly 19 million TEU. The Group employs 37,000 collaborators in the world and 2,400 in Marseilles where is located its headquarters and is present in 160 countries via its network of 755 agencies.
