cargo-partner, the international provider of transport and info-logistics, is expanding its warehouse space in Slovakia. In January 2016, the company launched the second construction phase for its logistics center in Dunajská Streda.

The new warehouse hall will have a capacity of 22,000 pallet slots and a total surface of 14,200 m². The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of this summer.

The company currently operates two modern logistics centers in Slovakia: one in Bratislava with a capacity of 14,000 pallet slots, and one in Dunajská Streda with a capacity of 7,000 pallet slots to date.

cargo-partner’s logistics center is the only warehouse facility in Slovakia that is immediately connected to the Metrans container terminal. The cross-dock hall has nine gateways where containers can be loaded directly onto trains. From there, they are forwarded on the fastest intermodal route to the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Koper or Rijeka. cargo-partner plans to invest EUR 3 million in this project.

cargo-partner is a privately owned, medium-sized, full-range info-logistics service provider with particular expertise in air and sea freight as well as information technology. The company was founded over 30 years ago and generated a turnover of EUR 540 million with 2,365 employees in 2015.
