B&S Logistik is one of the leading hauliers in Austria when it comes to storage and transport of paper by rail. So far, this was impossible for paper rolls with a size of more than 2.45 meters (so-called master rolls) due to cargo security. The supply had to be handled for lack of security on the street.
Thus, B&S Logistik GmbH has developed chocks that are suitable for transporting oversized paper rolls, can withstand all legal and product-specific requirements on rail, and have now been approved by the Austrian and German Patent Offices. The rail freight company claims to be the sole supplier of logistics solutions for the transport of oversized paper rolls by rail.
The chocks withstand the longitudinal forces of 4G arising from rail transport. Their construction respects also the different types of perforated strips in the wagon types. Thus, the chocks can be used for all common types of waggons for paper transport.
