The technology and service company Bosch joins the locations of the Mobility Solutions division in a common central warehouse in Tamm (Baden-Württemberg). In addition, another hall will be built next to this building, and serve as a logistics and sales location with training facilities and a showroom for Bosch Thermotechnology. The supplier of the automotive industry has commissioned Kuehne + Nagel to operate both units.

Hansjörg Rodi, Chief Executive Officer of Kühne + Nagel Germany.
The building for Bosch Thermotechnology will serve as a local distribution center for the Buderus brand on a surface of 13,000 m². This area is expected to be operational in the second quarter of the year 2018. The new building for the Mobility Solutions division will cover approximately 22,000 m² after completion. The six existing sites that Bosch consolidates in Tamm will be relocated one after the other. The ramp-up will take place gradually until the end of 2019.
From Tamm, the worldwide supply of automotive customers, the supply of Bosch plants in Germany and the supply of packaging for one of the plants will be managed. In addition, the warehouse provides crossdock functions for distribution in Germany and throughout Europe. Around 180 new jobs will be created in the two halls in Tamm.
