BigMove Projekt GmbH, founded at the beginning of the year under the umbrella of the AG, BigMove AG wants to strengthen its network and sales of the group and further expand its market position in Europe. Therefore the new company will play a key role as a project forwarder within the group.
As an interface, BigMove Projekt GmbH has access to all the human and technical resources of BigMove AG and its partners. The start-up of the company is intended to market, coordinate and handle, above all, complex transport and assembly services for heavy-lift logistics.
According to the company, BigMove Projekt GmbH guarantees “special customer proximity and a comprehensive range of services, but also the highest quality when it comes to execution of orders” at its 17 locations throughout Europe, as well as 12 inland ports for the handling and storage of heavy cargo.
“The new project forwarding company under the umbrella of BigMove AG gives our customers access to the range of services and know-how of our entire network. At the same time, our partner companies are getting better and can use further synergies,” explains Olaf Beckedorf, CEO of BigMove AG.
Since 2004, BigMove AG has been operating as an association of 13 medium-sized heavy goods logistics companies in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovenia and Poland. Together, the predominantly regional companies form a strong network, bundling their respective expertise. All vehicles of the group are standardised. The merger offers tailor-made and efficient logistics solutions for heavy haulage of all kinds.
