For Austrian Post customers, receiving parcels is now even more flexible and convenient. With the new Austria-wide parcel diversion, the shipments can be easily directed to a post office, a postal partner, a pick-up station or a Hermes PaketShop.
In total, more than 3,400 service points are available as receiving stations.
With the Post App and on post.at the customers can redirect their packages also at short notice to where it is best for them – and all that Austriawide. All they need is a registration on post.at or directly in the app. Once the package has been delivered, the customer gets a notification via e-mail or push message and can pick up the parcel directly, without a yellow slip.
Austrian Post has been offering its customers a wide range of solutions for the convenient reception of parcels for many years now. Previously, the free app made it possible to redirect the parcel to a nearby post office or pickup station, to a defined pickup location or to a desired neighbour. Delivery on a desired day was also made possible.
At now 360 self-service zones in the post offices, a pick-up and shipping service is available around the clock. The latter offer will be more than doubled over the medium term by further 24/7 self-service solutions.
