With the renewal of the fleet the average age of vehicles in the respective vehicle class is reduced to 1.1 years

Austrian Post buys 1,000 new Peugeot vehicles

Peugeot was able to win an big tender by Österreichische Post AG, resulting in a significant order for the car manufacturer: More than 1,000 vehicles of the types Peugeot Expert and Peugeot Boxer were ordered.

Österreichische Post AG is renewing their fleet with these vehicles. The average age in the respective vehicle class is reduced from 4.5 to 1.1 years. With AdBlue® technology and Euro 6 engines, delivery will be more environmentally friendly in the future.

The first vehicles in the widely visible, yellow and fresh post design were delivered only recently. The ordered vehicles will gradually be put on the road and deliver the mail to the companies and households throughout Austria.

The new post vehicles are as follows:

  • Peugeot Expert L3
  • Peugeot Boxer L2H2
  • Peugeot Boxer L4H2
