“Austrian Logistics” establishes itself as global umbrella brand

Accredited brand partners from transport, trade and industry draw a first positive conclusion

“Austrian Logistics” establishes itself as global umbrella brand

At the Austrian Logistics Forum, representatives of well-known Austrian companies presented the goals of a worldwide, strong umbrella brand for excellent logistics services in the fields of transport, trade and technology. This should bring a higher reputation to the discipline of logistics and, moreover, give it the best minds.

To put things in a nutshell and to keep the core functions of the industry concise is the main task of the umbrella brand Austrian Logistics. The steadily growing number of market participants wants to communicate the excellence of the discipline to the outside world.

Thus, logistics manages to bring the hp of digitisation to the ground – along the entire lifecycle of a product. Basically, the Austrian logistics industry should be regarded as pioneering, quality-conscious and resource-conserving beyond its national borders.

The umbrella brand Austrian Logistics was founded by the Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology as part of a logistics initiative – together with the Austrian logistics association Bundesvereinigung Logistik Österreich, the Federation of Austrian Industry, the association Verein Netzwerk Logistik, the Austrian Economic Chamber and the association for forwarding & logistics Zentralverband Spedition & Logistik. The aim is to highlight the excellent services provided by Austrian logistics throughout the world. In addition, the holistic benefits of the discipline of logistics and its networking contributing to the economy will be demonstrated.

The goals of Austrian Logistics benefit all partners:

-) Show the excellent performance in the discipline of logistics in Austria

-) Joint communication of a uniform overall picture of the discipline of logistics

-) Increasing the national and international visibility of Austrian logistics among decision-makers from politics, industry, trade and services and in the public at large

-) Strengthening cooperation, sharing knowledge and experience between stakeholders

-) Demonstrating and raising awareness for important topics in the discipline of logistics

-) Increasing the attractiveness of job profiles in the field of logistics and support for future-oriented education and training
