At their last meeting, the founders of Austrian Logistics (BMVIT, BVL, IV, VNL, WKÖ and ZV) on 11 November, decided to admit four new member companies: Montan Terminal Kapfenberg GmbH, DPD Direct Parcel Distribution Austria GmbH, Gebrüder Weiss GmbH and LRA – Logistics Research Austria.
The umbrella brand Austrian Logistics was founded by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) together with the Austrian Federal Association of Logistics (BVL), the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV), the Austrian Logistics Network Association (VNL), the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ), and the Central Association of Freight Forwarding & Logistics (ZVSL) as part of the logistics initiative. The project was carried out jointly by the companies marketmind and Spirit Design.
The aim is to highlight the global services provided by Austrian logistic companies. In addition, it is important to demonstrate the comprehensive benefits of the logistics sector and the contribution it makes to the economy through its networking activities.
Multipliers are important supporters for the goals of the umbrella brand. As media communicators, they multiply the efforts of the brand owners and contribute to the fact that the contents and concerns of Austrian Logistics are reached by the target groups.
