Mammoet Ferry Transport: Acquisition by Neele-Vat

On December 20th, the logistics service provider Neele-Vat Logistics reached an agreement on the takeover of Mammoet Ferry Transport. This acquisition strengthens the company’s position in European land transport. International branches in Belgium, Germany, Austria and the UK will be added.

The merger gives the customers of the two Rotterdam-based companies access to a more comprehensive European transport network. At the same time, it strengthens the scale required to remain competitive in tomorrow’s Europe.

Mammoet Ferry Transport will continue to operate under its own name within the Neele-Vat Group. The management will remain in office. Mammoet Ferry Transport employs 70 people in branches in Rotterdam, Zeebrugge (Belgium), Duisburg (Germany), Ansfelden (Austria), Preston Brook and Cambuslang (Great Britain). The company is particularly strong in transport to and from the UK. These services strengthen the opportunities for Neele-Vat customers.
