DHL Express Austria appointed Michael Welsch as Vice President Sales. The new staff member has more than 25 years of vocational experience in various sales positions and will assume his new function as of 1st January 2020.
In the past 14 years, the 47 year old father of four has been working for Microsoft – of which more than 10 years as Sales Director for Austria. More recently he was in charge of the entire field sales for Microsoft in the German speaking countries. Prior to that, he had the position of Sales Director with the JoWood Group, a start-up company.
Michael Welsch graduated as MBA (Master of Business Administration) in sports management from the University of Middlesex and is an enthusiastic triathlete.
