Timocom, an IT and data specialist from Erkrath, continues to grow internationally. Adding a location in Wrocław, the company is expanding their presence in the Polish market. Both transport service providers and dispatchers, as well as manufacturing and trade customers will profit from the strategic repositioning and the associated location expansion in this country.
“We decided on a new location in Wrocław because our strategic goal is to win even more customers for our Smart Logistics System by proving to them that our applications and expertise regarding interfaces provide real added value,” said Timocom’s Managing Director Tim Thiermann. More than 43,000 companies are already networked via the Timocom Smart Logistics System, and they upload up to 750,000 international freight and vehicle offers daily.
“We have an excellent and active team in Poland and we
want to continue to work together with them to further digitalise logistics in
Europe and to take care of our Polish customers,” the manager adds. Timocom
currently has around 50 employees working in Poland. By 2021, the IT company
plans to increase that number to up to 115 team members, and make additional
investments of around EUR 10 million.
