The long-standing transport company Neier Transport + Logistik GmbH in Nüziders in Vorarlberg changed its owner a few weeks ago. The previous owner family Neier has sold the company in its entirety to the Tyrolean forwarding and logistics company Berger, headquartered in Wörgl. This has been researched by the news agency Wirtschaftspresseagentur.

Martin Neier (50), previously managing majority owner of Neier Transport + Logistik, confirmed the sale of the company to Berger Logistik GmbH upon request. This step is linked to the early regulation of company succession, as no solution was found within the family.

“In order for the company to continue to thrive and grow, I wanted to get things started soon enough. So we can concentrate on the day-to-day business without constantly having to think about the succession that has not yet been regulated,” says Martin Neier, who will remain managing director of the transport company in the coming years.

The sale should neither change the company name nor the location. “Everything will remain the same except for the new owner.” At the same time he had also sold his company Bei-Logi AG in Schaanwald, Liechtenstein, to Berger Logistik GmbH.

The roots of Neier Transport + Logistik GmbH date back to 1963. The company currently operates a fleet of 34 trucks and employs around 50 people. There are ten trucks and 12 employees at Bei-Logi AG.
