In addition to strengthening the contract logistics network with new warehouses around the world, global transport and logistics service provider cargo-partner is making rapid progress in internationalization. This is reflected in the constantly growing number of offices in existing and new markets.
The latest site is the office in Melbourne, Australia, where on July 15, an experienced team started work. It offers a full range of air, sea and road transport solutions, as well as contract logistics, customs and other value-added services.
In Malaysia, the company has opened a sales and customer service office in Penang, in addition to its Kuala Lumpur office, which was established in 2011. Also new is a non-operational “Agents’ Liaison Office” in the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is now intensifying its direct contacts with its agents in the Gulf region and sub-Saharan Africa.
Despite its worldwide presence, the international logistics service provider does not lose sight of its origins and strengthens its position in Western Austria. In the federal state of Vorarlberg, cargo-partner opens a new office in Wolfurt in August.
Stefan Krauter, CEO of cargo-partner: “Following our organic growth strategy, we are expanding our coverage in the countries where we are already established, such as recently in the hinterland of China, in Malaysia or in Western Austria.” The new office in Dubai will also support some globally operating major customers. In addition, the work of the regional agents adds a great deal of value to the service quality of the company.
The name cargo-partner stands for a privately owned full-service logistics provider with a broad portfolio of air, sea and land transport as well as warehousing services. The company was founded in 1983 and generated sales of EUR 753 million in 2018 with just over 3,000 employees. It offers tailor-made services for a variety of industries.
