“On the one hand the number of online orders is increasing rapidly, while on the other hand simple and comfortable delivery options are lacking, especially in smaller communities,” Manfred Roth, franchisee and owner of the MBE centre in Eisenstadt, Burgenland, outlines the problem. For this reason a new solution was developed for customers: the MBE parcel hotel.
“Instead of their own residential address, registered guests can now give the address of the parcel hotel and their respective room number when ordering online. The MBE parcel hotel rents out single rooms, shared rooms and business suites for companies or more than one person. The registration takes place at the reception of the MBE center in Eisenstadt. Afterwards, all guests will receive an access code to activate the “Nuki Smart Lock” app, which guarantees 24-hour access to the respective hotel rooms. As soon as the deliveries have arrived, guests will receive a confirmation and will be able to determine the best time to pick them up.
