Excellent May 2017 for Container Terminal Enns

At the Container Terminal Enns (CTE) the business is running at peak levels. The statistics for May 2017 include 20,000 paid movements, 30,000 TEU, 250 trains, 6,000 truck handlings, 3,000 containers in the warehouse and 400 repairs. These figures were announced by the CEOs Otto Hawlicek and Michael Heinemann on 1 June at a joint event with bremenports.

The neutral railway terminal CTE describes itself as a supraregional hub for multimodal freight transport in Europe. Connected to the most important traffic axes, it acts as a gateway for block trains to the European North / South ports and back.

CTE operates the second-largest connecting railway in Austria and has three gantry cranes, outlet tracks and a trimodal wharfage with a length of 630 meters.
