In 2016 C.S.Cargo continued its annual tradition of updating its fleet. The transport company acquired trucks in the value of CZK 196 million (EUR 7.25 million), and invested in 63 Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania and DAF towing units and 80 trailers and semi-trailers.
Drivers get new comfortable vehicles which meet the Euro 6 emission standard. Previous experience shows that a young fleet contributes to lower operating costs. Mercedes-Benz dominates among the new towing units, while Krone leads in the trailer and semi-trailer department.
“Since 2011 we bought more than six hundred towing units,” explains Aleš Willert, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors C.S.Cargo. The group operates a large fleet of modern vehicles which undergo regular servicing. The majority of the fleet meets the strict Euro 5 EEV and Euro 6 standard.
The C.S.Cargo group is a leading Central European provider of road, air, sea and rail transport services and a comprehensive range of logistics services. The group operates through its subsidiaries in four Central European countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Germany) and in Russia
