With its public bonded warehouse for storage/car logistics/handling/port operations at the Port of Freudenau, Hafen Wien is granted “AEO C” since September 7, 2016. Also Hafen Wien subsidiary TerminalSped, responsible customs forwarding agency at the container terminal Wiencont, is certified according to “AEO C” as of 2 September 2016.
The AEO C – “Authorized Economic Operator Customs” is internationally recognized as an EU quality certificate for customs purposes and is issued by the customs authorities only to companies that perform reliable and accurate customs clearance according to EU regulations. With their employees, expertise and customs proceures AEO-certified companies support the parties of the supply chain in the international goods transport in the prevention of customs problems and costs.
TerminalSped. Speditionsges.m.b.H., a subsidiary of Hafen Wien is, as “Authorized Economic Operator” responsible for the customs warehouse movements at Wiencont Container Terminal. It further offers a customs service for import, export, transit procedures and also organizes transports with containers or trucks for their clients.
