New process for documents issue at WienCont Terminal

WienCont Container Terminal Gesellschaft m.b.H informs its business partners about their „accelerated truck handling thanks to a change in the issuing of T1 and Ex1 documents and import customs clearance“.
Accordingly, as of now the required documents can be uploaded online at the company’s website.
The truck drivers can print the documents at the Ingate, where three Selfcheck monitors are available. Therefore the driver has to enter the number of the container and its position; every document has a water mark.
Following this, the truck driver presents the printed document at the control desk. The further procedure (document search; entry into the WienCont system) can be omitted, resulting in a significantly accelerated handling of trucks.
Furthermore, the transport orders can still be transmitted to the drivers by means of the fax machine installed in the “Ingate”.
The described process is currently running in test mode. The final change will take place on October 1, 2015. From then faxed documents are no longer accepted.
