Waberer’s International Zrt. has continued to grow its business despite the increasing competition on the international full truckload market

91.5 per cent loaded ratio with FTL specialist Waberer’s

Waberer’s turnover exceeded EUR 261 million in the first six months of 2015, which is 8 per cent higher than the performance of the same period in 2014. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was EUR 37.6 million in the first half of 2015, surpassing the figure for the first half of 2014 by 15.3 per cent.
This result could be reached due to Waberer’s ongoing focus on efficiency and operational optimization and despite the increasing competition on the international freight market and new laws and regulations enacted in Europe which implicate certain restrictions with regard to international freight operators. There were improvements in substantially all performance and efficiency indicators:
Waberer’s has one of the youngest fleets of international freight operators in Europe, with an average age of two years, and increased its fleet size by 5.3 per cent in the first half of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014. Its more than 3400 truck-trailers completed a total of 213 million kilometres on the road in Europe in the first half of 2015, 5.7 per cent more than for the same period of last year.
The loaded ratio of Waberer’s international fleet, has improved further, reaching 91.5 per cent for the first half of 2015, which in the management’s view exceeds the European industry average for the international freight industry. Trucks performing international freight commissions also further increased their average monthly mileage during the first six months of 2015. Fuel consumption of Waberer’s trucks operating in the domestic segment in the first half of 2015 has decreased by 1.4 per cent during the first half of 2015 as compared to the same period for 2014.
In the first six months of 2015, Germany, Hungary, Italy, France the United Kingdom and Spain remained the most important markets for Waberer’s. Consignments with destination of origin in Italy showed the highest increase as measured by revenue in the first six months of 2015 as compared to the same period in 2014.
Budapest (Hungary) headquartered Waberer’s International operates the largest own asset fleet of road trucks especially optimized for the full truckload segment in Europe. The Company’s services cover all areas of logistics from road transportation to storage logistics to vehicle repairs.
