2018 was yet another record year for DSV Group

The company want to be a leading global supplier, fulfilling customers’ needs for transport and logistics services

2018 was yet another record year for DSV Group

During 2018, several geopolitical issues caused uncertainty in the logistics markets – most notably the implementation of trade tariffs between the US and China and the ongoing Brexit negotiation. The direct impact on DSV’s activities and financial results was limited.

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics achieved revenue of EUR 10.6 billion (+8 .1%), gross profit of EUR 2.34 billion (+7 .9%) and operating profit before special items of EUR 730 million (+14 .5%). The Group reports growth in all divisions.

“We are on track to meet our 2020 financial targets and 2018 demonstrates our dedication to delivering quality services to our customers and growing organically. In line with our strategy, we are actively pursuing M&A opportunities and we believe that the right transactions can create value for all stakeholders,” comments Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO

“We are working closely with our customers to make sure that we will be prepared – as best we can – for the different Brexit and “trade war” scenarios . We hope that the contending parties will reach good, sustainable agreements,”  the transport and logistics company announces.

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics provides and manages supply chain solutions for thousands of companies every day – from the small family-run business to the large global corporation. Their reach is global, yet their presence is local. 47,394 employees in more than 75 countries work passionately to deliver great customer experiences and high quality services.
